Blogging is an amazing experience! There are tons of blogs worldwide that make thousands even millions of $ like Mashable to inform its audience about certain topics. Others are inspired by by personal experience of travelers, gurus or motivators. But most of them stick to specific niche and give the readers what they want.
Eighteen months ago, I was facing the dilemma either to go on WAT program in the USA, or to spend four months on Erasmus program. Make money or get paid to study, travel all the time and non-stop party (I’m not saying that it’s not possible to do it in the USA, but it’s kinda different cause you work there 12-18h). What would you choose? It’s up to you. I don’t judge. But I chose the second. I decided to stay one summer in Varna (where I study) and at the end of September to book my ticket to Prague.
Yet again, I faced again to a dilemma, what should I do during the summer? I was already interested by that time in Digital Marketing and suddenly I discovered an internship position from Webest LTD. – Marketing and Web company, based in Varna, with good reputation in the market. So I took the chance and was accepted on the board of a very skillful and experienced team. I learned a lot from my Marketing managers about the digital world and one of the tasks they gave me during these 6 months was to write articles for the company blog (hopefully they will like what I’m doing now *no pressure*).
Let me tell you something about me, I’m not a book reader. Movies are my hobbies . But somehow after writing lots of articles about marketing, I’ve realized the power to express myself in a way I want, about topics I am passionate about. And then I came with the idea, why not to start my own blog about my travel journeys around Europe, while I’m in Prague? I mean, free time, cheap tickets, close destinations, backpack, camera and lots of story to tell you about. So I did. But it was just a hobby for me. I didn’t realize how BIG is the travel industry itself. How many people travel the world and over a night, they make money. And then, I saw the chance…
I have the opportunity to become the first entrepreneur in my family. All of my grandparents AND including my parents as well, used to work and still work to fulfill someone else dream. They are working hard many years just to buy someone’s new yacht, new Lamborghini, new apartment in Dubai. I wanted to build something mine. To leave my own mark on the family tree. This didn’t come to my mind out of nowhere of course. I receive daily doze of motivation by the inspirational stories of many bloggers and entrepreneurs all around the globe. How they changed their lives, while travelling and inspiring others to do it.
The world has changed so fast for the past decades, that we still can’t realize it. Our societies are growing open-minded people, with no borders and no limits, giving us unlimited opportunities to fulfill our potential. You just have to look around for them 🙂
So that’s how I came with the idea. The power of expression, my own legacy and travel passion (more of it you will see in my next posts). In the next articles, I’m gonna reveal some tips & hints about my journeys to Berlin, Warsaw, Bratislava, Vienna and Prague. We will start with the German capital 🙂 Stay tuned, Subscribe and follow me on my FB page and Instagram.
